A Little Rough

The legs felt a bit fatigued this morning but the achilles were about the same. If things are the same tomorrow morning I may do a short run followed by a pool workout. I still haven't ran a training run in shorts yet this year!

Totals: 56:43  8 miles

Now that my allergies seem to have subsided I'm enjoying running again! I was going to contact you about a run last week but didn't look good. Nice to see you're moving and thanks for the tip of the SHT segment as I'm wanting to do a long run offroad this weekend and may have to do loop like you sometimes. Got a Q for ya.....how do the NB 790's fit? If my memory serves me correctly, they ran pretty true to size. I wanting to get a pair. Any insight would be great!! Stay unbroken now.

I would be in for a SHT run this weekend... looks like rain in the forcast though.
The 790's fit close to true size. I usually buy 10 or 10.5 depending on the make. I actually have both a 10 and 10.5. I bought the 10.5's because they gave me a bit more toe room for downhills off road. I guess it depends on how you like your shoes to fit. If you go up the 1/2 size I think you would be happy. It would be worth the trip to DSW in the mall and see if they have your size. Otherwise, order from Zappos.com as they offer return shipping in the price of the shoes. They tend to be abit more expensive then other companies but they ship fast and are great to work with.
Let me know of plans for this weekend.

Thanks for the shoe advice. I excited to kick around in those!

As for the weekend, I'm quite free spirited in my training when I don't exactly know what I'm getting into but I'm hoping for something around the half marathon distance. Give me a call sometime after nine o'clock and we can discuss a plan of attack. How are you feeling about hills at this moment? I haven't seen too much yet but know that the Chester Creek trail should be decent as will some of Rock Hill so we could go up, down, loop, rinse & repeat.
